Weighing in at just 4 pounds, 1 ounce, the innovative, freestanding Big Agnes Fly Creek UL 4 is an ultra-light enthusiast's dream come true. Streamlined to eliminate any unnecessary weight, the Fly Creek UL 4 accommodates four or serves as a roomy shelter for three backpackers. Tapered from the head to the foot of the tent, the interior of the Fly Creek UL 4 measures 86" at its widest point and stretches a full 90" in length. The 49.5 square feet of interior space provides ample room and the vestibule offers an additional 17 square feet of weather-protected external storage space. Integrated gear loft loops offer a connection point for the Big Agnes Wall Gear Loft (sold separately). Ample mesh on the tent body and a large mesh door maximize cross ventilation and provide circulation to fight condensation build-up. Coated with waterproof polyurethane, the rip-stop nylon floor and rainfly are lightweight and durable. All of the Fly Creek UL 4's seams are tape-sealed to further protect the tent from the elements. Lightweight, collapsible DAC Featherlite NSL poles provide the Fly Creek UL 4 with freestanding structure. The single hub/pole design works in conjunction with the tent body's integrated DAC Twist Clips to make setting up the Fly Creek UL 4 fast, easy and intuitive. An eco-friendly anodizing process is used by DAC to treat the poles without the toxic chemicals traditionally used on aluminum tent poles. Reflecting an overall commitment to maintaining as light a packed weight as possible, superlight aluminum J-stakes are included to further secure the freestanding Fly Creek UL 4. If you really want to travel light, leave the tent body at home and use the rainfly alone with the optional Fly Creek UL 4 Footprint (sold separately), a tarp-style set-up that weighs a mere 3 pounds, 2 ounces!
